In a sad Note the girls soccer season is over. But i would just like to say that the girls showed alot of heart this season improving in every part of the game and with a couple bounces of the ball the other way we would have been right there in the play off picture. My hat is off to you girls for a great season and a never give up attitude. You all did the Lancer name proud!

On the upside the volleyball teams both mens have womens have started up and they are off to a fast pace start winning all of there pre season and starting league games.. Keep it up Lancers

Busy week for the Lancers

Its a big week in athletics and there is alot to cover. So where to start?

Well the beginning of the week seems like a good spot to start, and it was with the girls soccer team playing last Saturday. I know its a weekend and everyone does not want to come back to the school but people the girls are playing for your school and we need all the help and support we can give. The lady lancers did have a group of fans and they witnessed a great game. The girls fought hard and never gave up but they feel short loosing 3-0, but that score could have been the other way around as the lady lancers hit the post a couple times and a couple bounces went the other teams way. Keep at it girls you'll get the next one.

To tuesday we go which was yesterday lol.
Boys rugby got probably the biggest crowd out to one of there games ever. So fans thanks. I know it made a huge difference for me. I know we lost again but don't give up on us just yet, We got the top three teams in our first three games thats just a tough spot to be in. We had a great showing and we won the second half against Senca who has only lost 1 game in 6 years, but i know they left yesterday knowing that we were right there with them for most of the game and they know we got some fans... BOOOYAH !

Now today we have volleyball girls and boys tonight starting at 6 ! Good luck teams and see yah there !

Lancer Rugby

Its that time of year, where student come back to school but its also time to start up the athletics at Loyalist as well.
The Lancer Rugby team is into its second season and its been a great start. If you are one to look just on the web to see results and not go to the games then same on you. It does say on the OCAA site that loyalist lost their first regular season game to Mohawk 48-5 but there is alot more to this than just another lost for the Lancers.

What you would not see on that website is the 2 pre season games the Lancers had. Both wins i might add. One against RMC and the other against Queens University. Even though the boys lost the opener against the Defending Champs, they put up a great fight and did not give up and they have a messege for the students of Loyalist College.

"WE ARE BACK, WE ARE BETTER, AND WE ARE READY TO GO".

The Lancer Rugby boys are back in action this TUESDAY SEPT 18th at 4:30 but there is a tail Gate and BBQ before So come out and support these guys and have a good time!

Other Side Note: Girls Soccer Tail gate at 1:30 at the Tennis Court THIS SATURDAY SEPT 15th , then come watch the Lady Lancers at 2pm on the lower soccer field.
